Project plan: Integration of the Flemish Club for Arts, Sciences and Letters and the Brussels History Association in the Meyboom Guild of the Companions of Saint Laurentius
Mission:
The mission of this project is to spread the Dutch-language history of Brussels in an inclusive and educational way throughout the Benelux region, through participation in the Meyboom celebration as a running group.
Vision:
Our vision is to integrate the Flemish Club for Arts, Sciences and Letters and the Brussels History Association into the Meyboom Guild of the Companions of Saint Laurentius, and together make a lively, educational and cultural contribution to the celebration of the Meyboom. We want to appeal to a broader audience and put the Dutch-speaking history of Brussels in the spotlight.

Partnership and Integration:

Establish close collaboration between the Flemish Club for Arts, Sciences and Letters, the Brussels History Association and the Meyboom Guild of the Companions of Saint Laurentius.

Identify common goals and interests to create a strong foundation for collaboration.

Educational Content:

Develop educational and informative materials about the Dutch-speaking history of Brussels.

Organize lectures, exhibitions and workshops to make the public aware of this history.

Participation in the Meyboom celebration:

Work with the Meyboom Guild of the Companions of Saint Laurentius to form a running group for the annual Meyboom celebration.

Prepare costumes, flags and other attributes to symbolize the Dutch-speaking history of Brussels.

Promotion and Communication:

Create a communication strategy to promote the project and the Meyboom celebration via social media, websites and local media.

Distribute informative material to schools, community centers and cultural organizations in the Benelux.

Participation in the Meyboom celebration as a recognized running group in the next three years.

Reaching a broader audience in the Benelux region and creating awareness about the Dutch-speaking history of Brussels.

Organization of at least one educational activity per year, such as a lecture or exhibition.
Roadmap:

Establish a steering committee to lead the project and assign responsibilities.

Identify common themes for the Meyboom celebration and design costumes and attributes.

Develop educational materials and plan the first educational activity.

Work with the Meyboom Guild to participate in the Meyboom celebration.

Promote the project and share information with the public.

Evaluate and revise the strategy and objectives annually.
This project plan is intended to share the Dutch-language history of Brussels in an interesting way and to make a cultural contribution to the Meyboom celebration. Through collaboration between the organizations involved and the guild, we hope to achieve our mission and strengthen our vision.
